Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation


Born in Foligno (PG) in 1960.Engaged at a very young age in student organizations and in the Peace Movement.She was elected to the Regional Council of Umbria in 1985.From 1993 to 2001 he held the position of Councilor for Budget, Personnel and Social Policies.Elected for the first time in Parliament in 2001 in the Umbria constituency and from December of that year she will be part of the national secretariat of the Left Democrats as foreign manager until 2005. In 2005 she becomes organizational manager and contributes to the birth of the Democratic Party. He is currently a member of the National Directorate of the Democratic Party.Since 16 September 2019 she is Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Conte II Government.From 1 March 2021 she is Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Draghi Government.
