Freelance journalist and researcher, director of the Lettera22 association of independent journalists, he collaborates with newspapers and magazines including "l'Espresso", "il manifesto", "Gli asini", "il Fridays", "The New Humanitarian", Radio3. Lecturer at the School of Journalism of the Lelio Basso Foundation in Rome and at SIOI, for nine years he curated the Social Publishing Show. With Giulio Marcon he curated The left that will come. The keywords to change (minimum fax, 2018). For the editions of the donkey he published Arcipelago jihad. The Islamic State and the return of al-Qaeda (2016) and two interview books: Zygmunt Bauman. Modernity and globalization (2009) and For another globalization (2010). Author of the first field studies on post-2001 Afghan civil society, since 2007 he has dedicated himself to Afghanistan with travel, research and essays.
